CVE-2025-59197

Local information disclosure via sensitive ETL logging

Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Feb 22, 2026

Sensitive-data logging in the Windows ETL Channel allows local users with low privileges to read information from affected Windows systems. The channel writes sensitive information into ETL log files, creating a less-protected local copy accessible to an authorized user. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access, and the documented consequence is limited to confidentiality loss.
