Room substitution via unverified predecessor links

Improper room replacement in matrix-js-sdk before 38.2.0 allows remote attackers to hide a tombstoned room via a crafted successor room. The visibility logic accepts any room's claimed predecessor and removes that predecessor without verifying that it reciprocally names the room as its replacement. The attack requires a client to process attacker-controlled room state; affected consumers can display an unrelated attacker room instead of the legitimate tombstoned room.
