CVE-2025-59159Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote interface takeover via unchecked Host header

Published Oct 6, 2025 · Updated Oct 6, 2025

DNS rebinding in the SillyTavern web UI before 1.13.4 allows remote attackers to read chats and modify the interface via a malicious website. The HTTP server accepts inbound requests without validating the Host header, so browser DNS resolution can switch an attacker-controlled origin to the local interface. A victim must visit attacker-controlled content; successful rebinding grants the site's scripts local API access to read chats, install extensions, and inject HTML.
