Embedded malicious code in color 5.0.1 allows attackers to redirect cryptocurrency transactions via compromised browser bundles. The injected payload hooks browser and Web3 wallet network calls and replaces destination addresses with attacker-controlled lookalikes. Only browser deployments are affected, and a victim must approve the altered transaction; local, server, and command-line use is unaffected.
