Embedded malicious code in Qix- color-string 2.1.1 allows attackers to redirect browser cryptocurrency transactions. The compromised npm release executes obfuscated client-side code that intercepts crypto and Web3 activity and rewrites payment destinations to attacker-controlled accounts. Only browser bundles or direct script inclusions expose the payload; local, server, and command-line uses are not affected.
