CVE-2025-59118Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via polyglot image upload

Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025

Dangerous file upload in Apache OFBiz before 24.09.03 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the product-image endpoint. The addImageForProduct flow trusts a client-declared image MIME type and accepts a valid PNG carrying JSP code, then stores it with a .jsp name under a web-accessible path. An account with CATALOG_CREATE, CONTENTMGR_CREATE, or CONTENTMGR_UPDATE can place a persistent web shell and run operating-system commands.
