Firmware disclosure and modification via embedded ZIP password
Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in dormakaba Access Manager 92xx-K5 all versions allow local users to decrypt and modify firmware ZIP archives. FWServiceTool's FirmwareContainerFactory embeds one static password in its binary and uses it to encrypt and decrypt firmware ZIP files. Access to the installed exos 9300 client software is required; extracting the constant exposes every archive protected by the reused password.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
