CVE-2025-59104Public exploit

Root shell via unlocked UART bootloader

Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026

Authentication bypass in dormakaba Access Manager 92xx-K7 before BAME 06.00 allows physically proximate attackers to obtain a root shell. The exposed UART debug footprint enters an unlocked barebox bootloader, which accepts changes to global.linux.bootargs.dyn.root and boots /bin/sh as root. Exploitation requires enclosure access, 1.8 V UART equipment, and interruption of autoboot; the resulting shell has full device privileges.
