CVE-2025-59093Public exploit

Database read and write access via derivable password

Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026

Weak password derivation in dormakaba Kaba exos 9300 allows local users to obtain authenticated database read and write access. Several application DLLs derive the Exos9300Common MSSQL password by hashing fixed strings, the Windows hostname, and a registry value readable by every user. Any low-privileged Windows user who can read SOFTWARE\Kaba\Exos9300\DatabaseCode can reconstruct the credential and read most tables or update and insert many records.
