PIN disclosure and log forgery via unauthenticated SOAP
Published Jan 26, 2026 · Updated Jan 26, 2026
Missing authentication in Kaba exos 9300 before 4.4.0 allows remote attackers to read 2FA PINs and forge access log events. The IIdmm2CommunicationHubService SOAP endpoint on TCP port 8002 accepts GetPerson and SetAccessEvent requests without authenticating the caller. Internal-network access is sufficient to enumerate enrolled card IDs and associated PINs or insert fabricated past or future events into the access logbook.
