CVE-2025-59049Public exploitNetwork attack vector

File disclosure via unsanitized templated paths

Published Sep 10, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025

Path traversal in Mockoon 9.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read files from the mock server through a crafted request path. The sendFileWithCallback and sendFile paths pass a request-derived filePath through TemplateParser without sanitizing traversal sequences before serving the resolved file. Exploitation requires a running mock API configured to serve a static file from a user-influenced template path; successful requests disclose files readable by the process.
