Embedded malicious code in Prebid Universal Creative 1.17.3 allows remote attackers to redirect cryptocurrency transactions in browsers. The injected backdoor hooks fetch, XMLHttpRequest, and wallet APIs, then rewrites payment destinations and approval targets to attacker-controlled accounts. Exposure requires loading the compromised npm or jsDelivr release in a browser; the consequence is theft of cryptocurrency or wallet approvals.
