Account access via unchecked token lifecycle state
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
Authentication bypass in OpsMill Infrahub before 1.3.9 and 1.4.0 through 1.4.4 allows remote attackers to reuse invalid API tokens. The AccountTokenValidatorQuery accepted a matching token without requiring its current graph relationships to remain active or checking its expiration timestamp. Possession of a deleted or expired token tied to an active account is sufficient to regain that account's API permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
