Database record deletion via skipped authorization checks
Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026
Broken access control in TYPO3 CMS Recycler allows remote authenticated users to delete database records outside their table permissions. RecyclerAjaxController invoked DataHandler hard deletion without record checks, while the deletion route failed to enforce the configured Recycler authorization gate. A backend account with Recycler access is required; purging arbitrary TCA-defined data can make the affected website unavailable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
