CVE-2025-5902Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Device compromise via unchecked slaveIpList copy

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025

Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK T10 4.1.8cu.5207 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the device via a crafted slaveIpList value. The setUpgradeFW handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi copies the attacker-controlled POST argument without checking its length, corrupting adjacent memory. Reachability requires low-privilege access to the network management interface; successful exploitation can alter device data, expose stored information, and interrupt routing service.
