Authenticated database disclosure via unchecked table selection
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 11, 2025
Information disclosure in affected TYPO3 CMS releases allows remote authenticated users to read unauthorized database records through CSV export. RecordListDownloadController::handleDownloadRequest accepted a caller-selected table and queried it before checking the backend user's tables_select permission. Affected releases are 11.0.0 through 11.5.47, 12.0.0 through 12.4.36, and 13.0.0 through 13.4.17; access is limited to records in permitted page-tree web mounts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
