Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via path traversal
Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025
Path traversal in SeaTheme BM Content Builder before 3.16.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary site files. Patchstack identifies arbitrary file deletion but does not disclose the vulnerable function, request parameter, or filesystem operation that accepts the attacker-controlled path. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and deletion of core site files can break the site and interrupt service.
