CVE-2025-5900Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Router reboot via unprotected system-tool request

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Tenda AC9 15.03.02.13 allows remote attackers to reboot the router through a crafted web request. The fromSysToolRestoreSet system-tool handler accepts a state-changing browser request without validating that the logged-in administrator intended it. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active management session to load attacker-controlled content, after which the forced reboot interrupts network service.
