CVE-2025-5885Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unintended device actions via forged Web Connection requests

Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Konica Minolta bizhub Web Connection allows remote attackers to trigger unintended device actions. The User Box deletion workflow accepts a state-changing request generated by attacker-controlled content without verifying that it originated from the Web Connection interface. Exploitation requires a user to open crafted content while Web Connection is reachable; the demonstrated consequence is User Box deletion, while the vendor also reports unintended configuration changes or operations.
