Contributor-level stored XSS via unsanitized page content
Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in ARI Soft ARI Fancy Lightbox 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in pages. Contributor-supplied page content is retained and later rendered without sufficient input sanitization and output escaping, so injected scripts run when the page is viewed. Contributor-level access is required; execution occurs in a visitor's browser and can alter displayed content or act with that visitor's site privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=1.4.0 changes=[{"at":"1.4.1","status":"unaffected"}]
