Encrypted traffic monitoring via improper certificate validation
Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Sep 12, 2025
Improper certificate validation in WTW-EAGLE App before 4.4.1 on iOS and 4.4.0.10 on Android allows man-in-the-middle attackers to monitor traffic. The app's encrypted connection handling does not properly authenticate server certificates; published materials identify no affected API or code path. Exploitation requires an attacker-controlled wireless access point, and the published consequence is limited to monitoring encrypted traffic.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
