Stack-based overflow in KEYENCE KV STUDIO 12.23 and earlier and VT5-WX15/WX12 7.11 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted file. KEYENCE has not published the affected file format, parsing locus, or unsafe operation that overruns the stack buffer. Execution requires a user to open or otherwise make the product process the malicious file, and the resulting code runs in the affected product context.
