Authenticated local file read via path wrappers
Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Oct 1, 2025
Path traversal in Auth0 Laravel SDK 4.0.0 through 7.18.0 allows remote authenticated users to read local files via Bulk User Import. HttpRequest::addFile accepted caller-controlled path strings for multipart handling without checking existence, readability, or protocol separators. Exploitation requires a highly privileged Management API context and a path that controls the import argument; readable host files can be sent as import content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
