Code execution via unsandboxed preview iframe
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
Code injection in Dyad 0.19.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code when untrusted previews load. PreviewIframe renders generated web content in an iframe without sandbox restrictions, leaving scripts able to navigate the top-level Electron window and cross the preview boundary. A user must preview attacker-influenced content, after which commands execute on the host even when the generated application uses Docker isolation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
