CVE-2025-58763Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative remote code execution via Git command injection

Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025

Command injection in Tautulli 2.15.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute server code. The checkout_git_branch endpoint stores unsanitized remote and branch values that runGit interpolates into a shell command passed to subprocess.Popen with shell enabled. Exploitation requires an administrator account and a manual Git-clone installation, and successful commands run with the Tautulli process privileges.
