Authenticated code execution via MIME-only file validation
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in WeGIA before 3.4.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute code by importing a crafted PHP file. The controla_xlsx.php endpoint trusts an Excel MIME result without validating the filename extension or actual content, so Excel magic bytes let a PHP webshell pass. A low-privileged account with partner-file import access is sufficient, and the webshell runs arbitrary commands as the web server user.
