CVE-2025-58741

Database credential disclosure via masked field memory

Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026

Credential disclosure in Milner ImageDirector Capture before 7.6.3.25808 allows local users to retrieve plaintext database credentials. The Connection Settings dialog keeps masked usernames and passwords as plaintext in the running process, where memory analysis exposes them while the window remains open. Access requires a local session and process-memory access; recovered credentials enable direct database access and its authorized data operations.
