Sandbox escape in Redash 10.0, 10.1.0, 25.0, and 25.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute Python outside restrictions. The Python runner's run_query function supplies unrestricted getattr as RestrictedPython's attribute guard, allowing crafted queries to traverse protected object attributes. The disputed condition requires an authorized query user and the nondefault Python data source; a successful escape gains the Redash worker's data and execution privileges.
