Contributor-level stored script execution
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2026
Stored XSS in the Tapfiliate WordPress plugin 3.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. Public advisories identify insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but do not disclose the affected function, field, or storage path. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes when another user opens the affected page, enabling browser-context actions and data access within that user's session.
