Improper request throttling in Tenda TDSEE App 1.7.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over accounts through password reset. The /app/ConfirmSmsCode endpoint accepts repeated guesses of the SMS reset code without sufficiently limiting failed attempts. No authentication or user interaction is required; a correct guess permits the target account password to be reset and exposes that account.
