Memory corruption via rebootTime stack overflow
Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC5 15.03.06.47 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted rebootTime value. The formSetRebootTimer handler passes the POST-supplied rebootTime string to sscanf with %d:%d destinations whose stack storage can be overrun. Access to the router management endpoint is required; the record establishes stack corruption but does not demonstrate whether it causes a crash or code execution.
