Username disclosure via unauthenticated data endpoint
Published Oct 6, 2025 · Updated Oct 6, 2025
Missing authentication in SICK Analytics products allows remote attackers to enumerate usernames through an exposed data endpoint. The affected endpoint returns user-related data without authenticating the request, although SICK has not published its route or response fields. Any network client that can reach the service can identify valid usernames for reconnaissance, without gaining account access or changing data.
