Router crash via unbounded LAN mask copy
Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 15.03.05.16 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via a crafted LAN mask. The fromadvsetlanip function processes the POST request's lanMask value without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. A valid low-privilege management session is required; the published proof of concept sends an oversized value and supports service interruption.
