Memory corruption via unchecked LAN mask length
Published Jun 8, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC15 firmware 15.03.05.19_multi allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted LAN mask. The fromadvsetlanip function handles the lanMask parameter sent to /goform/AdvSetLanip without adequately checking its length, overflowing a memory buffer. A low-privilege web-management session is required; successful exploitation can compromise router confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
