Authenticated memory corruption via crafted PPTP list
Published Jun 8, 2025 · Updated Jun 9, 2025
Buffer overflow in the AC15 15.03.05.19_multi PPTP-user POST handler allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted list parameter. The formSetPPTPUserList function passes the attacker-controlled list value through Var to strspn without first enforcing a safe input bound. An authenticated management session and network reachability are required; public evidence establishes memory corruption but not code execution or observed attacks.
