Database read and write via unescaped WorldName
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 10, 2025
SQL injection in rAthena before commit 0d89ae0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data through a crafted WorldName. The partybooking_delete handler passes WorldName directly into a quoted SQL DELETE predicate without escaping it before Sql_Query executes the statement. The web-server route requires no privileges or user interaction, and exploitation exposes database confidentiality and integrity without a reported service interruption.
