Account takeover via exposed password-reset tokens
Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Sep 12, 2025
Authentication bypass in Flowise 3.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over accounts through exposed password-reset tokens. The forgot-password account service returns the complete user object, including a valid tempToken, rather than sanitizing sensitive fields from the response. Knowledge of an account email is sufficient to submit that token to reset-password, change the password without user interaction, and assume the account.
