CVE-2025-58412Network attack vector

Script execution via unescaped error-page URL

Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Cross-site scripting in affected Fortinet FortiADC releases allows remote attackers to run script code through a crafted URL. The virtual server's default error page places script-related HTML from the requested URL into its response without effective neutralization. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted URL; the resulting script can read or alter browser-accessible data in the page's security context but does not interrupt the appliance.
