Privilege escalation in Terminalfour 8 through 8.4.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to obtain Administrator access. The user management function accepts a client-modified userLevel parameter without enforcing server-side authorization, allowing assignment or invitation at a higher privilege. Power User access is required; the request can also reset the target account's password, enabling full control of an existing or newly invited account.
