Repository takeover via unsanitized pull request metadata
Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Command injection in Roo Code 3.26.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on its GitHub Actions runner. The discord-pr-notify.yml workflow passes unsanitized pull request metadata into a privileged command context instead of isolating it as data. A crafted pull request can expose repository secrets and let the attacker modify code or publish malicious releases and packages.
