CVE-2025-58367Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution via Delta class pollution

Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025

Class pollution in Zepworks DeepDiff 5.0.0 through 8.6.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through crafted Delta input. The Delta constructor accepts tuple-form internal paths without applying the string-path filter, enabling traversal through globals to make SAFE_TO_IMPORT permit posix.system before a second pickle payload is deserialized. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled Delta data and can execute code or crash that application's process.
