Credential disclosure via serialized private catalog secrets
Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025
Credential exposure in Onyxia 4.6.0 through 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to read private Helm repository credentials via a public API. Onyxia-API's /public/catalogs response serializes CatalogWrapper username and password fields; the patch marks both Jackson properties write-only. Exposure requires a configured private Helm repository and grants access to its stored credentials without authentication.
