Data exposure and injection via unverified LUKS2 metadata

Improper LUKS2 metadata verification in Edgeless Systems Constellation before 2.24.0 allows local users to read and alter persistent data. The CVM passes an untrusted on-disk header to crypt_activate_by_passphrase and accepts cipher_null-ecb, so the disk opens without proving that its data is confidential. Exploitation requires control of the underlying host or write access to a storage disk and exposes later writes while allowing attacker-chosen data to enter the guest.
