CVE-2025-58353Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-site scripting via overlapping blacklist replacements

Published Sep 4, 2025 · Updated Sep 4, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Promptcraft Forge Studio allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted input rendered by the app. The sanitizer in src/utils/validation.ts applies each blacklist replacement only once, so removing an embedded token exposes a second javascript: or data:text/html token. Execution requires the crafted value to reach href, src, innerHTML, or dangerouslySetInnerHTML and typically requires a user click; the script runs in the application's origin and can read tokens or act as the user.
