Kernel memory exhaustion via unbounded procfs allocation
Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026
Resource exhaustion in Samsung Exynos Wi-Fi drivers allows local users to exhaust kernel memory through a crafted p2p_certif write. The /proc/driver/unifi0/p2p_certif operation allocates memory for a user-supplied large buffer without enforcing a size limit. Low-privileged local access to the procfs entry is required, and exploitation interrupts device availability without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
