CVE-2025-58343

Local service interruption via unbounded kernel allocation

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Resource exhaustion in the Samsung Exynos Wi-Fi driver allows local users to exhaust kernel memory through the create_tspec proc entry. The /proc/driver/unifi0/create_tspec write handler accepts a large buffer and allocates kernel memory without enforcing a size or resource limit. A low-privileged local account able to write that entry can exhaust kernel memory; Samsung does not specify whether the interruption is a hang, crash, or reboot.
