CVE-2025-58255Network attack vector

Code injection via forged privileged-user requests

Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in yonisink Custom Post Type Images 0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject code via a crafted request. Patchstack has not identified the affected endpoint or disclosed which request-validation operation fails, beyond stating that the request forces a higher-privileged WordPress user to perform an unwanted action. Exploitation requires a logged-in higher-privileged user to interact with attacker-controlled content; the resulting code injection can compromise the WordPress site.
