Unauthorized state changes via missing nonce validation
Published Sep 22, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Fastly for WordPress 1.2.28 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger an unauthorized action. An affected state-changing function accepts a request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce; public records do not name the function or action. Exploitation requires tricking a logged-in site administrator into submitting a forged request, and the documented consequence is limited to an unauthorized state change.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
