Command injection in SonarQube Scan GitHub Action 4.0.0 through 5.3.0 allows local users to execute commands on the CI runner. The action.yml runner interpolates the args input directly into a Bash array assignment, causing shell expressions in untrusted values to be evaluated. Exploitation requires influence over dynamically computed action arguments and grants command execution in the workflow runner's security context.
