CVE-2025-58174Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unsanitized profile names

Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in LDAP Account Manager before 9.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via profile names. The Profile section stores a profile name without neutralizing HTML and later renders that value as page markup, so an embedded script element runs in the viewer's browser. Exploitation requires profile create or edit permission and a user to view the poisoned profile data; resulting script execution can read information or act within that user's application session.
